It was a very exciting game, but would liac been more exciting if it had been in our favor. . There was also a "March of Dimes" school project which brought in a good amount of money. We received $62.50 for both the Public and High school. There were cans put in each store and also in the Show House. The public school students canvassed the town and that helped quite a bit. We turned the money into the proper authorities, and are all hoping this money will help some child that is stricken with Infantile Paralysis to get well soon. Monday morning Principal Reid H. Allred conducted a Boy Scout program which lasted about ten or fifteen minutes. We gave the Pledge of Allegiance Allegi-ance to' the Flag and Mrs. Helen Madsen also told us somethings about the Utah Flag. Remember to "Keep Buying War Bonds." Reporter, Carolyn Anderson. |
