Show j SPRING CITY j By Special Correspondence 1 Grover Blain and family of Ogden Og-den were guests the past week at the home of Mrs. Blain's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christian Thompson Thomp-son at Spring City. Mrs. Percey Holmes of Everett, Washington spent a few days of the past week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Black, her uncle and aunt. She also visited other relatives while in Spring City and other parts of Utah. Preston Mitchell and family of Bingham were last week visiting j with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Juste-sen Juste-sen in Spring City. I Mrs. Gottfred Larsen was host- ess Thursday evening to the members of the K. K. club. Delicious De-licious refreshments were served. Rook was played resulting in which Mrs. Muriel Nunley and Mrs. Blanche Barrsten won the prizes. Special guests were, Mrs. , Helen V. Madsen, Mrs. Faye ; Ericksen, Mrs. Blanche Barrsten and Miss Eleanor Larsen. ! Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jensen i were Friday dinner guests at the ! home fif Mr anri TVTr nihhc TVTnv,. : son at Mt. Pleasant. Miss Mary Larsen left Thursday Thurs-day for Salt Lake City after visiting visit-ing here with her parents and brother, Corporal Heinz Larsen, who was home on furlough from Camp Adair, Oregon accompanied by his wife, who left Sunday for Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrel M. Soren-sen Soren-sen of American Fork spent the week end visiting relatives in Spring City. Mrs. Gottfred-Larsen was Sunday Sun-day hostess at a dinner at her home here to guests as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Heber Anderson, Mi. N. C. Johansen, the Misses Mary and Rhea Anderson of Mt. Pleasant. Second Lieutenant and Mrs: Arthur J. Johnson and small son of Las Vega, Nevada are visiting with Bishop and Mrs. James F. Ellis. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Jesnen visited last Wednesday with Eph-raim Eph-raim friends. Bert Brown came from Provo the week end to visit with his relatives and friends in this city. A number of men with teams and trucks are hauling gravei for street improvement. Some of the streets in the city have been resurfaced. |
