Show About Business I The development of business has transformed the life of human hu-man beings. The growth of industry in-dustry has given modern conveniences con-veniences to the masses. The power age, just beginning, will revolutionize human existence. The business man, in the broadest sense, includes the laborer, la-borer, the capitalist and all the multipliel activities of men and women at work for pecuniary gain. Our economy is partly a present from the past, although shaped by present trends. Business justifies its existence when it serves human needs and there is great need today for business bus-iness men with intelligence enough to appreciate the fact. Business is not a colossus, astride other social activities and superior su-perior to them. It is only the product pro-duct of man's experience, re-pprsenting re-pprsenting his belief that it is beneficial to all. There is always the danger that business men will forget hat they are only a part of the world. They easily imagine that they are the end of human activity activi-ty and they sometimes fall into the error of assuming that without with-out business, as we know it, the human race would lose its culture, cul-ture, its civilization and its re-lilgion. |
