About one hun-elred hun-elred voices took part. Mr. Spencer Spen-cer Covert was the director. Bishop Grovi.r Clyde and Mrs. Clyde, Mrs. Henry Bower. Mrs. Mertin Harder and Miss Virginia Harder all of Milwaukee, were v.sitors at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Golden Carlston last week. Mr. and Mrs. Allie L. Carlston and Bishop and Mrs. Golden Carlston attended the wedding ieceptien of Mr. Frank Cook and Miss Mahala Smith held in the L.on House last Thursday. The marriage took place in the Salt Lake L. D. S. temple. Bishop and Mrs. Gold.-n Carlston entertained at a wedding breakfast in their nonor Friday morning. On their return from Boulder Dam and tne Parks of Southern Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Cook were entertained Sunday Sun-day evening at a dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allie L. Carlston. Airs. Lucy Tucker entertained her bridge Club last Wednesday evening. A delicious luncheon was served to ten members and tnree special guests. Prizes were won by Mrs. Vera Brady and Mrs. Varda Vance. Mr. Winston Mower, who suffered suf-fered a stroke last Sunday morning morn-ing was taken to the Veterans hospital Thursday for treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Giles Vance and c.i.iaren of Tooele spent last Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. .viorom Vance. Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Evans 0. Castle Gate are visiting in Fairview this week. Mrs. Lorna Tucker entertained at a birthday party last Friday afternoon in honor of her little aaugnter Dorothy who was four years old. The aftenoon was 1. pent in playing games. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served to sixteen little lit-tle guests. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Perry spent Easter m Fairview visiting with relatives. Mr. Anhur Tueker and Mr. Rex Cox went to Salt Lake City last week wnere tney now have employment. em-ployment. Mr. LaVern Hansen and Mr. Wayne Stewart who are attending attend-ing school at West Weber College ipen: Easter Sunday here with leiatives and friends. Mrs. Vern Jensen and daughters daugh-ters Rutn and Betty Jensen, and Mrs. Hyrt.-n Hansen are Provo visitors this week. A numser of men left Fairview this week for Wyoming where they will shear sheep. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rasmus sen and Mrs. Thelma Mower were Salt Lake City visitors last week. Mrs. Mary Mower who was oj.eiaied on last week for a ruptured rup-tured appendix is reported to oe improving and will soon return to ner home. ive.. ana Mrs. Dean Vance of Salt Lake City were Fairview v-sitors last week. Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Clement and children of Salt Lake City spent Easter here with friends. Mrs. Onn Mower entertained at a birthday party in honor of her little son Neils, who was four years old Tuesday. Dainty refreshments re-freshments were served to ten little guests. The afternoon was spent m playing games. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jones of Salt Lake City visited in Fair- view last weekend. The following girls went up to the Lodge Saturday where they stayed the night and spent Easter: Eas-ter: Letha Vance, Ludean Tucker, Nelda Clement, Shirley Graham, Bonnie Knight, Alton Rigby, Loy Tucker, Colleen Peterson Connie Bond, Helen Swensen, Gloria Jensen, Areola Cheney. They were chaperoned by Miss Leah Clement and Miss Crista Madsen. Mad-sen. Mrs. lone Rigby and daughter Alton were Salt Lake visitors last week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Barker spent Easter here with Mr. Barker's mother, Mrs. Ella Barker. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Jones and Mrs. Christena Jones of Salt Lake City spent Tuesday in Fair-view, Fair-view, visiting with relatives. |
