Anna Lee Cox, Nora Mae Graham and Ethel Osborne dressed in formals and carrying -bouquets of pink carnations were the bridesmaids. Mr. Byron Watson, brother of the groom, was Best man. Acting as hostess were Mrs D D. Balomforth and Miss Rebecca Sanderson, who wore gardenia corsages. Dressed in formals with corsages cor-sages were Thora Stewart, Mrs Val Clement, Lois Watson, and Mrs. Byron Watson placing gifts with little Sandra Lynn Cox and Renee Stewart receiving gifts. ' The hall was beautifully decorated deco-rated with gladiolas sent from Idaho Falls, by the bride's uncle, L. Devon Sanderson. I Out of town guests were: Mrs. Sarah A. Watson, Melvin Watson, Wat-son, Nora Mae Graham, Gerda Pratt, Elaine Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Gustin. Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Harrison, Vita Beth Harrison, Harri-son, Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Bolton, Bol-ton, Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sanderson, Phyllis and Phyllip Sanderson, Mr. and Mrs. George I. Sanderson, Sander-son, Miss Lois Watson, Miss Anna An-na Lee Cox, Miss Ethel Osborne and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Cox. The newly weds left Saturday for a short honeymoon to Bryce and Zion canyons, after which they will make their home in Clearfield. Reva Stewart, Don Wiseman, Janet Richards and Donald Stewart Ste-wart were down from Salt Lake to spend last week end at Fish Lake. They visited Monday night in Fairview with Mr. and Mrs. Francello Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Christensen Christen-sen of Burley, Idaho spent last week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Christensen and other relatives rela-tives and frineds. Week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. R. Vance were Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Lowe and son, Stephen, their grandson, Charlie Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Vance, all of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mower and daughter, Ellen Morris of Fountain Green. Thursday, August 28 in a lovely church wedding Miss Oleah Brady Bra-dy and Mr. Max Mitchell, of Birdseye were united in marriage marri-age by Pres.C. E. Rowen of the Provo L. D. S. stake. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raldo Brady, was lovely in a gown of white taffeta and net. She carried car-ried a bouquet of rosebuds surrounding sur-rounding an orchid. The bride chose Miss Peggy Orton of Castle Gate as maid of honor and Misses Connie Jensen, Rae Ona Mower and Karma Hartley as- brides maids, who wore pastel colored dresses and wore corsages of rose buds and gardenias. The mother of the bride, in black, wore a gardenia and rosebud corsage. Dareen Brady, registered nurse, of Salt Lake City, spent last week in Fairview with her mother, Mrs. Marinda Brady. Dareen will now fly to Boise where she was called to aid in the polio epidemic. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rigby were host and hostess Monday at a Labor Day family get together. to-gether. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Jensen, Arlene and Dwane Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Staker and baby, Mt. Pleasant, Mr. and Mrs. La Von Christensen and daughter Kay and Mr. and Mrs. Therald Rigby of Hiawatha. Mr. and Mrs. Argyle Pherson returned to Salt Lake City Monday Mon-day after a two week vacation in the Northwest and Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Pherson's children have been visiting in Fairview with Pres. and Mrs. Golden D. Carls-ton Carls-ton while their parents were a-way. a-way. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Mower of Ogden spent the week end in Fairview visiting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Hansen and two children and Mrs. Aggie Hansen of Parma, Idaho have been visiting in Fairview with relatives and friends. Enroute home they visited Yellowstone National Park. Mr. and Mrs. David Rigby and 'son, David Brent were clown from Ogden to spend last week with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rigby and to visit in Moroni with Eva Nielson. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Ed-mund Cox and family wrote "finis' to their trip to Seattle. Washington. While in Seattle they visited Dr. E. Demar Anderson, Ander-son, a nose, throat, ear and eye certified specialist. Enroute home they visited Grand Coulee Dam and Yellowstone National Park. Mrs. Ireta Updike left Aug. 23 by train for Chicago to meet her husband, Paul Updike, who has recently been released from serving serv-ing a short term L. D. S. mission in the East Central states. Mrs. Updike and her three small sons have spent the summer in Fair-view Fair-view with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Bench. Mr. and Mrs. Updike will return to Fair-view Fair-view by auto and will later go to their home in Phoenix, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sundwall and daughters were down from Provo last week end for a visit with Mrs. Jessie Sundwall, and Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Peterson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Murray, visited last week end in Fairview with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Peterson and family. Making the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jensen right now is their new baby son, born to them on Monday, Sept. 1st. This is their first child. Sunday, August 24th Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Tanner and family, Dr. Vasco Tanner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Swensen and family fam-ily of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mower were guests at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Tanner, where they celebrated the 81st birthday anniversary of their father. Family pictures : were taken. In September Mr. Wilmer Tanner Tan-ner will leave for Kansas, where, he will attend school. On the afternoon of July 25, Mrs. Hilden Tucker entertained 15 little guests, in honor of her daughter, Mary's 4th birthday. The afternoon was spent playing games and light refreshments were served. |
