Mrs. Geraldine Johnson was hostess to the Klever Kraft Klub Thursday evening at her home. Ballard Christiansen and Leo Mowers 'who are stationed at San Luis Obispo, California, are home visiting their parents. Friends and relatives here received re-ceived wond Monday of the death of Franklin Dewey John-Eon, John-Eon, 44, well known wool grower grow-er of Heber and a World war , veteran. He died Monday at 11.58 a. m- in a Salt Lake hospi-I hospi-I lai of uremia due to nephritis. I He had been in the hospital a month. Mr. Johnson was born in Burlington, Burl-ington, Wyoming, May 4, 1897, a son of Samuel Thomas and j Viola Jane Snyder Johnson. He (married Edna Olivia Jensen of i Fountain Green in 1921. After I her death he married Agatha 'Clemment Anderson of Fountain Green in 1933. ' Funeral services with military - honors by Lockhart Post of the American Legion -was conducted Wednesday at 1 p. m. in Heber. I Graveside services followed at the Fountain Green cemetery. ! Mr. and Mrs. Niels Christiansen Christian-sen will observe their Golden Wedding anniversary September '. 6 with open house at their home from 2 to 6 p. m. and a family supper in the evening. Niels Christiansen, age 73, was born September 10, 1868 in Foun-', Foun-', tain Green. Lucy D. Christiansen, Christian-sen, age 70, was born August 29, 1871 in Freedom. They are the j parents of eleven children, six of whom are living: Mrs. Amy 'Samuels, Delbert Christiansen, Randlen Christiansen, and Don !Christiansen of Fountain Green, I Mrs. Mary Symes of Salt Lake City, ad J. Ralpi.i Christiansen of San Gabriel, California. They .have thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Ewell Anderson and family fam-ily and Mr. Lloyd Aagard and family have gone to Salt Lake City where they will make their homes. |
