All sorts of uncompU-mentary uncompU-mentary epithets are used to designate desig-nate the bugler,. but nobody has yet been able to provide a satisfactory substitute for a bugle although recordings re-cordings are used at some permanent, perma-nent, bases. K Aboard ship the men fall in at the order of "Pip' muster." On land the bugler, sounds "Assembly!" But no matter 'where the bugle is used thousands must be bought out of the money we are investing in War Bonds. Bark-the attack with an extra ex-tra $100 Bond in the 3rd War Loan. U. S. Trituury Dtparlmmt I It's A People's War We are paying more In taxes than ever before . . . and likely will pay more. But we cannot rely on taxes to finance the war. It would not be fair to base a tax on the average single family fam-ily income when many families have more than one Income. We could borrow all the money from the banks, but for both economic and social reasons this is undesirable. The government gov-ernment would then sacrifice its greatest dam against Inflation. Infla-tion. This is a People's War and the people should finance it. The people WANT to finance it. Sale of War Bonds has mounted consistently since Pearl Harbor. Tliey give their lives . . .
