Show Cache Valley Folks Publicized In National Farm Magazine Mr. and Mrs. James Thain, their family and their farms are featured in the February issue of the "County Gentlemen" Gentle-men" one of the leading farm papers in the national field. The Cache Valley folks are the subject of an article written under the general heading of "Good Farming Good Living". The Thain set-up was chosen to illustrate what the well-managed farms offers in opportunities opportuni-ties for modern, comfortable living. liv-ing. The article is designed to point out that the farm is more than a mere food production plant, and that it is a ."place to live" as well. The Thain farm is one of the fine farms located west and north of Logan. The present generation are operating as "dairy farmers" and have developed de-veloped one of the fine Holstein herds which make Cache Vallev famous as a "Black and White" dairy section. In their herds they have had state production record holders and life-time production pro-duction record animals. They have won many awards with their dairy herd. All Utah is proud to have this national recognition rec-ognition come to one of our fine farm families. |
