Show Snow And Water Supply For The Year 1943 The depth of the snow and its water content in Ephraim Canyon is below average for this time of the year, and on the Meadows and Oaks Courses the increase is only seven inches and eight inches respectively, during the month of February. At the Great Basin Experiment Station the depth of the snow increased twelve inches during the month. The Meadows Course, at an elevation of 10,000 feet, shows a snow depth of 50 inches and a water content of 13.78 inches at the end of February, as against 66 inches of snow and a water content of 19.78 inches at the same time a year ago. At the Great Basin Experiment Station Course, at an elevation of 8700 feet, there were 42 inches of snow with a water content of 9.73 inches, as against 44 inches of snow and 13.00 inches of water a year ago. The twenty-one year average is 45 inches of snow with an average water content of 11.93 inches. The Oaks Course, at an elevation eleva-tion of 7500 feet, showed a snow depth of 21 inches with a water content of4.86 inches, as against 26 inches of snow and 5.86 inches of water at the same time a year ao.
