Show jSanpete County Agricultural News SANPETE COUNTY HOME DEMONSTRATION AGENT TRANSFERRED TO LOGAN Miss Naomi Jensen Will Be New Home Demonstration Agent For Sanpete County; Is Well Qualified In Work Miss Ruth Parrish, who has efficiently ef-ficiently served as Home Demonstration Demon-stration Agent in Sanpete County since March 16, 1944, has been transferred to the state office in Logan as Home Demonstration Agent at Large. Her new territory terri-tory will be the entire state of Utah, and she will assist Mrs. Myrtle D. Peterson, Assistant Director Di-rector for Home Economics at the U. S. A. C, with organization, supervision, and subject matter. Miss Parrish is leaving Sanpete San-pete having been the county's first home agent with a record of fine accomplishments and a host of friends. This record is the answer to her change of positions. posi-tions. She will spend more time with new members of the staff and will return orten to Sanpete at her successor's request. The new County Home Demonstration Demon-stration Agent will be Miss Naomi Na-omi B. Jensen, now Agent in Emery County. Miss Jensen joined the Extension Staff with Miss Parrish and has followed much the same procedure in her county, A graduate of Utah State with a B. S. degree in 1938, Miss Jensen Jen-sen did graduate work the summers sum-mers of 1939, 1943 and the fall and winter quarters of 1943 and 44. Miss Jensen formerly taught in Duchesne, Cache, and Utah counties and at the Ririe High School in Idaho. She has lived on a farm most of her life and been very active in church affairs. She has served as 4-H local supervisor and Vice-president Vice-president of the Cache County 4-H Leaders' Association. She worked on the Cache County Fair Committee. |
