Miss Xwila Blain daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Blain was laken to Dr. G. B. Madsen's hospital hos-pital Saturday where she underwent under-went an operation for appendicitis. appendi-citis. Dr. Ralph Jorgensen of Eph-raim Eph-raim performing the operation, jkhe is now improving nicely. Gottfred Larsen and Daniel Jensen made a visit to Ephraim Friday where they visited with friends. Mrs. Laura Pedersen of Fair-view Fair-view and Mrs. Gibbs Monson, Airs. Arvenna Allred and children child-ren of Mt. Pleasant were in Spring City Tuesday visiting relative.-!. Mrs. Stena Allred has returned return-ed home after 2 months stay in Aurora with Mrs. Marion Clou-ard, Clou-ard, her daughter, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Larsen of Salt Lake City were week end visitors at the Gregsen Schofield home here. Mrs. Grace Fullmer entertained entertain-ed Friday afternoon at her home here to members of the Alethea cmb with special'' guests Mrs. John T. Blain and Mrs. Rudolph Hope. Archie Barney has gone to Deita on a trip of business and pleasure combined. Frank Colman arrived home on Thursday of last week alter laboring the past 26 months as a missionary in the California mission. Mr. Coleman reported nis mission experience at the Sacrament meeting Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John H. Coleman announce the engagment of their son, Frank to Miss Donna Mower of Provo. The marriage will take place Thursday October 31 in the Salt Lake City L. D. S. temple alter which Mr. Coleman will return to San Diago, California io work at the Air Plane factory. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cabebe of Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Coleman of Salt Lake City are here visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Coleman.
