Show Flood Protection Discussed At Meeting Held Thursday A meeting was held Thursday night in the Mt. Pleasant City Hall at which plans were discussed dis-cussed for the protection of Mt. Pleasant against future floods. It was decided to make a survey sur-vey of other places where floods have occurred in the State and learn if possible, if there were ,i any better methods of combating this terrible menace. It was decided to hold a meet-' meet-' ing at the State Capital on Satur-S Satur-S day, Sept. 28th and enlist the as-i as-i sistance of the State in our be-J be-J half, and then to make a visit i to Willard, and other places. j From the group in attendance i at the meeting the following men J were asked to make the trip: !
