Show Native Woman Buried Here Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Christina Gunderson Rinoerg, 19, a former resident of Mt. Pleasant, Pleas-ant, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the North ward Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant city cemetery' under direction of the Jacobs Mortuary. Program at the funeral seiv iots was conducted by Dr. Dail P. Averett of the ward bishopric. Ruel Seely gave the opening prayer and musical numbers were furnished by Opal Sco- ville, vocal solo; Pearl Peterson, ! vocal solo; Ethel Ericksen, o;-.?- ; an solo. " Speakers were Elden Luke, ' president of Emery Stake; Bishop Bish-op John H. Taylor and Pies. H. C. Jacobs. The closing prayer was made by Daniel Rasmussen. The grave at the Mt. Pleasant cemetery was dedicated ded-icated by President Jacobs. Mrs. Renberg died November 30 in a Provo hospital. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, January 29, 1870, a daughter of Jens and Maria Peterson Gunderson. Gun-derson. On January 1, 1890 she was married to Charles Renberg, Ren-berg, wool grower of this city. After his death in 1928, she moved to Orangeville, Emery county, to make her home, and had also lived in California since that time. She was a member of the LDS Church and an active Relief Society worker. She is survived by three daughters and four sons, Mrs. Fannie R. Jewkies of Orangeville: Mrs. Valerie R. Amundson oC Bountiful; Mrs. Lucile R. Butts of San Rafael, Calif.; Loren and Murian Renburg : of Stockton, Calif.; Erin Renberg of Pocatello, Idaho, and Milo Renberg of San Francisco. Also surviving arc a brother, Henry Gunderson of Salt Lake city and a sister, Mrr.. Mary Blain of Spring City. |
