Show JAYCEES Win Over LIONS Mt. Pleasant Jaycees edged out the Lions in a hotly contested Softball game Tuesday night, to the score of 9-8. Celebrating their narrow margined mar-gined victory, the Jaycees were afterwards entertained at a pot-luck pot-luck dinner by the Jaycee-El tes, specially honoring Fremont Draper, Dra-per, Jnycee president, and his wife, Luella Draper, who has been a Jaycee-Ette officer. The Drapers have moved to Salt Lake City, where Mr. Draper has accepted ac-cepted a position. Tribute was paid by Rex Mat-son, Mat-son, state vice president, to Mr. Draper, and by Fern Jacobs to Mrs. Draper for their contributions contribu-tions to the Junior Chamber of Commerce work. JAYCEES HONOR PRESIDENT Mr. .and Mrs. Fremont Draper were presented with a magazine rack as a recognition of services rendered by the Mt. Pleasant Club, whereupon each of the twenty ladies present was given a potted plant by Mr. Draper. Vacancy in the presidency of the Jaycees has been filled by Wallace Rosenlof, who has been 1st vice president, during Mr. Draper's tenure In office. |
