Show Mr. Roy Lasson has been visitmg in Provo for the past few weeks he returned to Fair-view Fair-view last week. Mr. Kay Scovil made a trip to Salt Lake City during the week. The regular Saturday night dance was held this week, with a large crowd attending. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lasson are the proud parents of a baby girl born to them December 2. The first parent and teachers meeting of the year was held in the high school auditorium at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. A short program was presented. The principal speaker was Mrs. R. C. Anderson of Manti, who is the district president. Mr. Robert Jones of Fairview has been installed as ward clerk n the Fairview North ward. Mr. Val Dean Stewart the former ward clerk is now employed in San Diago, California. Three one act plays are to be presented by the North ward (Mutual Tuesday evening. The names of the plays are: "The Roar of a Twist," "A Sign Unto You," and "So Wonderful In White." Ted Madsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Madsen, just recently recent-ly received a stenographic post' in Washington, D. C. Ted, previous previ-ous to the appointment had been attending the B. Y. U. i Mr. Edmund Cox of Fairview was operated on for appendicitis on Thursday, November 28. |
