IMrs. Huret retunnied to the United States in 1911, a .jCi-r to:fore the Colonia Dulblan colonists were driven out of Mexico. Among toe interesting experiences exper-iences of her life were the making mak-ing of bullets during the Black Hawk Indian war, and her service serv-ice as a nurse during the difficult diffi-cult days of colonization at Co-l'cnia Co-l'cnia Dublan. Her descendants at the time of her death numbered 241 10 Children, 77 grandchildren., 136 great-grandchildren and 18 great-gri:at-granddhildren. Uer mo hi.r, Mrs. Mary Wilcox died here fourteen years ago at the age of 97. Members of her immediate family who survive are two daughters, Mrs. Alice; L. Nielson of LaJara, Colorado; Mrs. Parley Par-ley Redd of Blanding; four sons, George A. Hurst Sr. of Manti, Hugh Hurst of Salt Lake, Oscar Parley Hurst and John Frank Hurst of Blanding; one brother, Justue Wilcox of Alberta prov-' ince, Canada, and four sisters, Mrs. Martha Wes'jA'Ood aind1 Mrs. Mary Day of Mcab, Mrs. Clarissa Clar-issa Meiling of Payson and Mrs. I Ha nnah Carlston of Salt Lake. |
