A. announce that the y stake Gold and Green ball will y I be held Friday, March 21, at the f 4 Armory. fjfl The ball is scheduled to be a Ml lovely Centennial affair, with appropriate decorations and cos-tumes. cos-tumes. The dance is semi-JjZ semi-JjZ formal for all, but pioneer costs cos-ts tumes are encouraged. S2, JEach ward will be represented by the queen who reigned over the respective Gold and Green balls. Queens are Viola Allred, Spring City; Ruth Garlick, Fair-view Fair-view North, Bertha Moss, Mt. Pleasant South; Arlene Jensen, Fail-view South; Merlene Draper, Mt. Pleasant North. The queens will portray the pioneer spirit in d their dress. A floor show has been arrang-A arrang-A ed, wth each ward presenting a ' specialty number. Following 1a those numbers all the dancers r from the wards will present the t , distinctive Gleam waltz of the '? M. I. A. A group of children have been f well-trained to give some pioneer . dances in costume, also dances i from the native lands of their ancestors, Denmark, England, Sweden, Ireland, etc. |
