Show "1 i MORONI 1 By Special Correspondence Mrs. Cleon Anderson spent ; several days visiting in Salt Lake City last week. On Sunday Sun-day she was a guest at the wedding of her niece, Miss Dorothy Dor-othy Rogers. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Gee and baby son have come from Lompoc, California to make their home in Utah. Mrs. Leo Morley spent last week in Salt Lake City visiting with her daughter Verdean who is employed there. Mrs. Helena Ames Christensen returned here Monday after a month's visit with her daughters daugh-ters living in San Francisco, California. Mrs. Verda Goble and small children have returned to their home in Los Angeles after spending two months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Eliason. Mrs. O. L. Eliason has just received word from Los Angeles that her daughter Donnette has underwent an operation for appendicitis. ap-pendicitis. She is doing nicely. Miss Geraldine Anderson of Salt Lake City spent last weekend week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erenst R. Anderson. The Blackham family reunion reun-ion was held last Sunday afternoon after-noon in Maple Caynon where a splendid program was enjoyed by all after which they reorganized reorga-nized the committee for the coming year. The new officers selected are: John D. Bailey, president; Harris Larsen, vice president; Bessie C. Nielson, secretary-treasurer; Grace Wes-tenskow, Wes-tenskow, program chairman. Refreshments were served to fifty-five. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Home, Mrs. Darrel Christensen and daughter daugh-ter Lois, all of Salt Lake City, visited Sunday with relatives here. A birthday party was given last Sunday in honor of Mrs. Alfred Draper at her home, the occasion being her 71st birthday birth-day anniversary. All of her children were in attednance. They are: Earl Livingston and family of Payson, Mrs. John E. Jensen and family of Moroni, Clifton Livingston and family of Moroni, Jessie Livingston and family of Genola and Mrs. Ralph Peterson and family of Ephraim. Her sister, Mrs. Nellie Nel-lie Collard of Fountain Green also came to enjoy the day. A delightful program was rendered, render-ed, after which a delicious lunch was served. Mrs. Russel Bailey and daughter daugh-ter Geniel returned home on Tuesday after a few days visit with relatives in Salt Lake. Miss Laurel Olsen of Salt Lake City and George Olsen of Hill Field, spent last weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leander Olsen. Miss Beth Anderson of Salt Lake City visited a few days with relatives and friends here last week. Mr. Reid Barrett of Salt Lake was the speaker in the Moroni West ward last Sunday. In the East ward the speakers were Mr. and Mrs. N. S. Brady of Fairview. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Blackham spent last Monday in Salt Lake City and Provo. Mr. Udell Blackham of Ruth, Nevada, is spending his vacation vaca-tion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blackham. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Anderson have gone to Salt Lake City where they both have employment. employ-ment. Mrs. Ernest Blackham visited last week with relatives in Salt Lake City.
