Show Matthias E. Wtialin Passes Away at Provo a resient of Fairview, died at a Provo Pro-vo hospital on Sunday morning. Mr. Wahlin had been in Arizona where he contracted pneumonia. After a few weeks illness he felt veil enough to return to Utah. He reached Prove Friday, when he suffered suf-fered a relap"e and was taken to the hosp'tal where he died Sunday. Mr. Wahlin was born in Wester Norland, Sweden, July 10, 1848. Ee came, to Utah in 1881, settling at Fairview. He later moved to Schc-field, Schc-field, where h was L. D. S. ward Bishop for eight year'. He married Kathryn H. Gr-esbeck in 1901. They md to Springville in 1520. Mrs. Wihlin died several years ago. Surviving n.r" -ix s"ns end daughters: daugh-ters: E. W. A quartette was rendered by Marion Turker and compainy; also a duet by the Amundsen sisters, who sang, "What Are They Doing in Heaven?" The speakeri wre Fred J. Daniel-son Daniel-son and Eli A. Day, who spoke well of his life and work. He was an hns'; Latter Day Saint and a great rhuich worker. He donated the lot to tlw church on which the Nortn Ward chap"l now stands. Albert 'Stewart gave the closing: remark. Interment was in the Fairview : City cemetery.
