Show Supl, Skidmore To Address N. S. Graduates Mr. Charles H. Skidmore, state superintendent cf public instruction, instruc-tion, wiU be the speaker at the Ncrth Sanpete high school graduation gradua-tion exercises which will be held in tlie Elite theater at 8 p. m. Friday, May ia, announces Principal C L Stewart. Miss Carol Reynolds of Mt. Pleas ant and Edwin Peterson of Spring City, highest four-year honor students stud-ents among the girls and boys respectively, re-spectively, will read original essays Miss Reynolds is a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Asa Reynolds, and young Peterson is the son of Mr. and Mrs James C. Peterson. Music is to be provided by the school chorus and music department. depart-ment. Aside from the speaker, the entire program will be given by the graduating class cf seventy members, mem-bers, which is the largest in the school's history. Principal Stewart will preside and will recommend the students for graduation, after which Supt. A. E. Jonej will award the diplomas on behalf of the board. The exercises are to be held in the theater rather than the school auditorium due to insufficient seating seat-ing capacity in the latter place. As many as 100 people have been turned away from past commencement commence-ment programs, Principal Stewart said, and it was in hopes of accommodating accom-modating everyone that the theater theat-er was arranged for. Following the program, a dance will be held at Moon Winks. |
