Show The Alcohol Problem There are abundant signs that repeal of the prchib ticn amendment amend-ment did not permanently solve the alcohol problem for the United States. The advocates of prohibition are beginning to point out present-day evils and to insist that seme remedy rem-edy must be fcund. Some of them frankly "take it for granted" that prohibition, as we had t, will be a failure. So far, however, we have seen ncthfng new suggested. Possibly it would be a gocd idea for these opp'sed to alcohol to ' continue a campaign cf education, strivng particularly to impress upon ycurg men and women the danger of strong drink. Few sens-ble sens-ble citizens d:ny that alcohol is a peril and persistent advertising of this fact would accemplish something. |
