Show Dr. A. L. Peterson Receives Appointment to State Board of Dental Examiners Dr. A. L. Peterson of Mount Pleasant, was recently advised chroug i the Department of Regis-, Regis-, at.on that Governor Henry H. Blood had approved his appointment appoint-ment to the State Board of Dental Examiners. This being the first time that this particular honor has been given giv-en to this part of the state, speaks well of the ability of Dr. Peterson in up.iolding the standards of the local, state and national associations. associa-tions. Dr. Petersen is an honor graduate gradu-ate student from1 the University of Southern California, which gives him life membership in the national nat-ional honorary fraternity Omicron Kappa Upsilon. 'in his j.rofession he has held some important positions, such as secretary and treasurer of the Central Utah Dental Society, has served on important committees in the State Dental Association and at the present time is a member of the Public Relations Committee of the Utah State Dental Association. In 1935 he served on the Sanpete Co'-inty F. E. R. A. Medical Advisory Advis-ory Board. He is active in fraternal frater-nal and civic organizations, having served as President of the Mount Pleasant Liens Club, District Commander Com-mander of the American Legion. Department of Utah, and is serving a second term as Commander of the local Pest No. 4. He is also serving a second term as council-men council-men for Mt. Pleasant City. |
