Show NYA Work Is jProgressing In Sanpete Valley Dr. Francis W. Klrkhain, State Dirajjor of the- National Youth Administration, made a visit thro Sjaipele Cvunty tha week, checking check-ing up on the progrees of the Sodal Welfare work among tha youth of this valley. While here he rec-ived a good report rrom Miss Anna Sundwall, District Supervisor Su-pervisor of Socal Work; Howard! Lars tn, Director of Sanpete County Pubiic Welfare Department; Nedr Larsen, local repr'Kntatlve at Mt. PI ttaant end Margaret Anderson a.t Manti. Their work in thia section sec-tion le to make available young people for the NYA projects, ati-s Dr. Kirkham. In this county of 11,020 peoplo thiTe are 250 families tht am oertifid for WPA work. Theio are 368 youth batween the agea of 16 ujd 25. Of thesa youthi ttoera are 139 registered and available for NYA projecta; 11 are not ngts-oeTcd; ngts-oeTcd; 97 are attending school; 48 are in OCC Camps; 34 have obtained ob-tained work; 28 have priority for family tuppait; 8 are marrtetd; 3 rj-.j unemployed; 1 U In R.
