Show i , MORONI 1 By Special Correspondence The 4-H second year clothing club, two first year cooking clubs, cne second year cooking club and one senior club, under the direction direc-tion of Mrs. Grace Westenskow, enjoyed en-joyed a treasure hunt last week after which they all met on the city hall lawn, where refreshments were served and a very enjoyable time was had. Mrs. Erma Anderson of Salt Leke visited last week at the home of hei-sister, hei-sister, Mrs. Elmer Lauritzen. Mrs. D. C. Nelson. Mrs. Olive D. Anderson, Marion Draper and Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Gowers went to Ely Monday to attend funeral services ser-vices for Mrs. Mabel Smith, a daughter of Mr. and" Mrs. Marvin Draper, who were residents of Moroni Mo-roni some years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Reinsamer, Mrs. Anetta Reinsamer of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Parse Richards of Plea ant Grove spent Labor Day in Moroni with relatives. The mesdam.es N. P. Sorenson, Mozart Larsen, James M. Larsen, Leo Morley, Roy Storey, Joseph Prestwich and Mrs. Ophelia Rhodes were hostesses at a Soroais club outing Thursday afternoon of last week on the lawn at the home of Mrs. Rhodes. Refreshments were served to the following members: Mesdames Ray Anderson, Lloyde Blackham, Russel Bailey, Marvin Anderson, Mert Draper, and Cleon Andersen. This is the last outing and the club will start their regular regu-lar meetings the first week in October. Oc-tober. Mrs. Clive Spell and children of Ruth, Nevada spent a part of last week in Moroni visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Morgan Lamb entertained for Mrs. May Bertlescn and Mrs. Hazel Anderson of Ephraim Saturday Sat-urday afternoon. Mrs. Cleon Anderson, And-erson, Mrs. H. E. Dice and Mrs. Joseph Chen were also present. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Freeman have moved to Salt Lake City. Mr. Stanley Syme and Mrs. Hannah Han-nah C. Blackham were Salt Lake visitors last week. |
