Show C.S.Christensen Passes Away Of Pneumonia Christian Soren Christensen, 81, pioneer resident of tois city, died at the family home Thursday morning morn-ing alter a to weeks' illness of pneumonia. Mr. Christensen was born in Hjor-riug, Hjor-riug, Denmark on October 20, 1856, and came to Utah with his iu-.en o, Soren and Mary Christina Christensen Chris-tensen in 18ii3. He had been a resident res-ident of this city since. He was a manner of the L. D. S. church and aad been active in the Seventies quorum:. Af ter the death of his first wife, Mary Thompson Bailee, he married again in 1908 to Eliza Nielsen, who survives him, with four sons and three daughters, Levi Christensen of Sicknell, Mrs. Christina Stevenson of Levan, Mrs. Myrtle Norsack of Rive.ton, Emmauel Christensen of j.em, Mrs. Mabel Baumgarner of Wendover, Earl and Glen Christensen, Christen-sen, enrollees at Mayfield CCC -arr..p. Twei sisters also survive him, Mrs. Mary Dalton of Fresno, California, Cal-ifornia, and Mrs. Hannah Wilcox of Provo. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p. ia. in the Mount Pleasant North ward chapel with Bishop A. L. Peteison of the South ward officiating. Burial will be in he Mt. Pleasant city cemetery under un-der direction of Jacobs Mortuary. |
