Show Australia's Big1 Reservoir The word comes from Australia that, after seventeen years of work, the Hume reservoir has been opetv-ed, opetv-ed, at a cost of nearly $30,000,000. It is expected, together with ether works, comprising many dams and locks, to insure the productivity pro-ductivity of hundreds of thousands of acres, in which drought has killed kill-ed millions of sheep, to assure good crops of fruit and feed and to make possible electricity for power. When completed the project will have cost around $75,000,000. We don't know what constitutional problems the Australians had to surpass beore going ahead with their development plans, but what they have done is indication of what the world is going to do everywhere In the near future. |
