Show ESCAPE INJURY IN COLLISION Nobody Hurt When Cars Collide as Party Returns From Mt. Nebo. Returning from an outing at the park located at the eastern base of Mt. Nebo, a party of people from Mt. Pleasant and other points escaped es-caped serious Injury Thursday afternoon af-ternoon when the car in which they were riding was struck by a machine ma-chine driven by a Mr. Christenseu. The local car was driven by Mr. Kenward. The collision occurred on some loose gravel between Mcroni and Fountain Green. The crash turned a front wheel of the Kenward car "inside out,'' while a front wheel, rear wheel and fender on Mr. Christensen's car were badly damaged. dam-aged. Tn the Kenward car beside the driver were Mrs. Kenward, Ml, and Mrs. Joseph Davis and Miss Ida Lovell. Another car in the party carried Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Lattin of Covina, California. Mr. und Mrs. B. P. Lovell of Mt. Pleasant and Mrs H. J Von Elm of Salt Lake. The party had been enjoying the arternoon at the Nebo camp, where they had a picnic dinner, played baseball with some Nephi Boy Scouts, and otherwise availed themselves them-selves of the joys of out-of-doors. |
