Show Congress Seems Indecisive For about eleven weeks the people of the United States have witnessed the CongTef s struggling to secure effective ef-fective action on any number of public Issues. That little has resulted Is apparent appar-ent but the cause Is not so patent. Overwhelmingly in the control of tho majority party one would have thought that sonv disposition cculd have been speedily made of many public questions. Wo have no desire to go into the merits of specific legislative proposals pro-posals but it would s em pla:n that Congress, If riot In favor of the Vf slatlrn propo ed, has had sufficient suf-ficient time to reject what It doas not like and suggest something else. |
