Show i FAIRVIEW ! By Special Correspondence I The Bridge club met Thursday evening at the home of Olea Cox. Mrs. Anna Tucker Jensen won first prize; Mrs. Jessie SundwaJ second. Refreshments were served to fifteen ladies. Mrs. Steve Christenson entertained enter-tained at her home Wednesday evening ev-ening for a number of ladies, Mrs. Melba Poulsen won the prize ot the evening. Games, music, and a social gocd time were had. Luncheon Lunch-eon was served to twelve. The La Jolla club met at the home of Mrr;. R-eed Peterson on Thursday cf last week. The ladies quilfed and worked upon a rug. Also Al-so a party was planned to be given January 24. This club rhould be called a "help one another club" as all work for the hostess wherever they meet. Refreshments were served serv-ed and a social time spent. The public school faculty under direction cf Principal Maitland Graham will present their annual play at the South ward chapel on Saturday evening. "Mammy" a comedy-drama, will be given. The public school teachers, assisted by Kline Larsen and A. J. Anderson will take the roles. A matinee will be given for the children at 3:30. The two Fairview wards joined in their Gold and Green ball which was held in the Fairview Amusement Amuse-ment hall Friday evening. It was very well attended. |
