Show ith Trunks, Elephants Can Smell Two Miles Elephants have a sharp sense of imell in their trunks. To catch listant scents they raise their xunks high over heads, and when -,he wind is right can smell a hunt-r hunt-r two or three miles away. A ull-grown elephant has a trunk ive to seven feet long.
