Show Manwaiing's Opinion Friend Geo. E. Manwaring should be a newspaper writer. Here is one of many items Bent in this week. "The Chamber of Commerce of the U S. recently issued a release of 13 pages on the danger of fixing farm prices at too low a level. In the winterof 1931-2 when themillionsof unemployed unem-ployed were walking the streets and farms were going on the auction block by the thousands, this same Chamber of Commerce Com-merce was a party to the world program which caused the destruction de-struction of 2.500,000 sheep, 6,000 000 dairy cattle, 126,000,000 bags of coffee, ship loads of oranges and fish, and train loads of other farm produce. Funny, isn't it, how friendly the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce can be WHEN IT IS TO THEIR INTEREST! |
