Show Senior Softball Competition Narrows to 3 With only two week's play yet to go in the first half, competition in the Timpanogos Stake Senior M Men Softball league is still keen. Three teams are still in the running run-ning for the championship. First and Fourth Wards are tied for top slot with a six won and one loss rating. Third Ward follows with a five and one record. Fourth Ward handed Lindon Second their second defeat of the season last week in a close and exciting game. One of the other better teams will be eliminated this week, but the other two should finish in a tie, making necessary a first half playoff. An all-star game will be staged July 21, pitting members of teams from First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth, against Manila, Sixth, Grove, and the two Lindon Ward teams. Junior league all-stars will play at 7 p.m. and the Senior top hands at 8:15 p.m. Both games are scheduled under un-der the lights at the P.G. ball park, as a part of the Timpanogos Stake 24th of July celebration. Everyone is invited to see Softball at its best.
