Clubs Sponsoring Sale of U.S. Savings Stamps In order to encourage the formation for-mation of habits of saving- and thrift, a program promoting- the sale of U.S. Savings Stamps is currently being organized for the Elementary Schools of Pleasant Grove. The announcement was made Wednesday morning by Mrs. Geneve Dalton, President of Unit 70, American Legion Auxiliary. Sponsoring organizations -and chairmen of the thrift program are American Legion Auxiliary, Sadie Beck; Mothers Study Club, Edna Newman; Cadmus Club, Ella Jackson and Elysium Club, Ruby Gourley. According to Mrs. Dalton stamps will be sold twice each month at Central, beginning November 7 and once each month at Grovecrest beginning November 14. The sponsoring women's organizations organ-izations sincerely solicit the cooperation co-operation of parents, teachers and children in this most worthy activity.
