Show 4-H Clubs Should Select Projects, Mark Objectives Mrs. Leland Beers, 4-H supervisor super-visor in this area, announced that in commemoration of National 4-H Club Week everyone interested inter-ested in 4-H Club work should get together and decide what their project is going to be and what their objectives should be for the coming year. Mrs. Beers also said that enrollment en-rollment sheets should be filled out and sent to the Extension office, of-fice, In order to get the materials needed for the projects this year. . "4-H Club work gives experience exper-ience and training to boys and girls to supplement the training they receive in the home, the school, and the church," Mrs. Beers said. "Young people like to belong to a group or a club. 4-H clubs help fill this social need." 4-H club work develops habits of healthful living, provides direction dir-ection in the wise use of leisure time and gives opportunity to develop leadership. To have 4-H members become good citizens who enjoy a rich, full life Is the ultimate goal of 4-H club work. |
