V XN I- f i K . 7 ' ; - f i K vs -'i , FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE Fred Keetch, local Jaycee, receives plaque from Emile Cances, immediate past president presi-dent of the Pleasant Grove Junior Chamber of Commerce, for outstanding Jaycee civic service during the past years. Fred Keetch Presented With Plaque For Outstanding Service At a recent Chamber of Commerce Com-merce banquet, Fred Keetch was presented with a testimonial plaque by his fellow Jaycees. The plaque reads "In honor and with deep appreciation of the distinguished disting-uished and unselfish service given to the Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce movement, while serving with outstanding leadership, vision and ability." Mr. Keetch has been an active member of the Pleasant Grove Jaycees since 1945 and in that time has held every office in the club. These offices were; one year director, two year director, vice president, president, state director, direc-tor, secretary-treasurer. At the present time he is serving another term as one year director. He has been chairman or assistant chairman chair-man of youth activities, high school civic award, Strawberry Day stand, float and rodeo, Christmas Christ-mas and Christmas lighting. The year Mr. Keetch was president, presi-dent, the local Jaycees won first place in the state and second in the nation with their Christmas activities project. Mr. Keetch has represented his club at seven State Conventions and one National convention. |
