Show Reception Held for Mrs. Rulon J. Wells In Lehi Memorial Building Wednesday The former Louise Larson, late-summer late-summer bride of Rulon J. Wells of Linden, was showered with many lovely gifts at a reception held in her honor Wednesday evening eve-ning at the Pioneer Memorial Building. Following soft romantic prelude music played by Pianist Dianne Blake, a variety program featuring featur-ing musical numbers and readings was presented with Mrs. Preston L. Atwood as mistress of ceremonies cere-monies for the evening. A miniature bridal procession created with appropriately dressed dolls of various sizes, soft lights, and harmonizing' nuptial-shower and holiday-season colors graced the table centered between the wedding gifts displays. The bride's mother, Mrs. Tlu-lnia Holliman, and the groom's mother, Mrs. Rulon Wells, were the hostesses host-esses for the gala affair, and close relatievs of the bride, Virginia Lindsay Blanche Shirley, and Annette An-nette Larson were in charge of the gifts. Approximately 85 persons were served dainty refreshments by younger friends and relatives of the bride and groom. In the near future, the new bride, a graduate of Provo High School, will join her husband at Treasure Island, California, where he is with the U. S. Navy, attending attend-ing radar school. The groom is a graduate of the Pleasant Grove High School. |
