Show " i i-i. - New Rides and Special Events Feature Saratoga According to Nile Wasburn, public relations agent, a new "ride" is receiving enthusiastic acclaim at Saratoga Resort. Called Call-ed the "Wild Mouse" the roller coaster-type fun machine will be available for thrill-seekers until August 15. August 15 is a "Free Day" at Saratoga for members and families fam-ilies of the Saratoga Boat Club. Demonstrations of the latest developments de-velopments in boats and boating will be on the agenda for the day. Chairmen of family groups and organizations who have held reunions re-unions at Saratoga during 1959 will be treated to a free day on August 13. Their families are also al-so invited. Again on August 15 a gigantic aquacade will be staged featuring featur-ing a personal appearance of Beverly Bev-erly Beck, national diving champion. cham-pion. On Saturday, August 22, 75 young people from Payson will stage a "Water Extravaganza" which is free to the patrons of the resort. In addition the Lehi High School band will present a concert at 5:00 p.m. American Pork High School band will present a concert at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 29 and the Pleasant Grove High School Band will entertain at the same hour on Saturday, Sept. 5. |
