Show K Clean-Up f)ays Are Seii For April 9tth to B4h Civic Leaders to Tour City On Arbor Day, April 13 Thursday, April 9 to Monday, ' April 13, has been designated as "Clean-up Days" in Pleasant Grove, Mayor Burton H. Adams said last Tuesday morning. The "clean-up, fixup and paint up" campaign will be sponsored by Pleasant Grove City and all individuals and organizations are urged to cooperate in the annual faoe-lifting activities, the Mayor stated. An obsarvation trip throughout through-out town reveals that there is much that could and should be done, Mayor Adams said. Old fences should either "be tarn down or fixed up and painted. The same goes for outbuildings. In far too many -cases irrigation irriga-tion ditches have been used as depositories for ashes, tin cans, and even wet garbage. Dry weeds and brambles infest in-fest many city lots and refuse heaps have accumulated to the sides and rear of many homes. Mayor Adams said that at 2 p.m. on Arbor Day, Monday, April Ap-ril 13, a motor caravan would be formed to cover the principal streets of the city. Representatives Representa-tives of Ladies clubs, civic clubs, city council, churches and the press are invited to join Xhe tour of inspection.
