Mills, Postmaster After serving patrons at Unpleasant Un-pleasant Grove Post Office for a number of years, we come to know quite a bit about thorn, .especially those who come frequently to the office. We get to know the joys, heartaches, tragedies, and succeses of young and old alike. The pulse of the town tells a lot about whether it's going ahead with the 20th Century or keeping the status quo. The mail that we deliver to you every day with postmarks post-marks from around the world from servicemen, business houses, factories fac-tories and shops indicates that the people of Pleasant Grove are eager participants in the drama of our tune, and are making their con- tributions to a better town and a better world. As intimate and personal as we cf the postal service get with you and your families through serving you and handling your mail, you might be interested in the fact 'that your post office is part of the biggest big-gest business in the world. With nearly 100,000 regular drivers dri-vers in the streets and roads, it operates the largest vehicle fleet in the world. Its financial transactions amount to more than 21 billions annually. The 23 billion stamps it sells each year would encompass the world 14 times. It employees nearly half a million mil-lion people. It handles more mail than all the rest of the world combined.
