Show W. Cornell Haynie Advanced at Geneva Steel Co. A key appointment in the industrial in-dustrial engineering department at Columbia-Geneva Steel Division's Divi-sion's Geneva Works were announced an-nounced today by (",. W. Schaum-burg, Schaum-burg, works industrial engineer. W. Cornell Haynie was appointed ap-pointed senior industrial engineer at thte U.S. Steel plant. Mr. Haynie was born in Man-assa, Man-assa, Colo., and is a graduate of the University of Colorado, where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He began bis employment em-ployment with U.S. Steel at Geneva Gen-eva Works in ir5:i as a student engineer in the rolling mills. In 1954 he was transferred to the engineering department as a junior jun-ior power and fu'-l engineer, and, several months later, was appointed ap-pointed an industrial engineer, the position he held at the time of this appointment. Mr. Haynie, his wife, Karla. and three children reside at 115 South 13th East in Pleasant Grove. E |
