Show Steel Day Art Exhibit Rules Are Listed, Sept. 5 The annual Steel-Day Art Exhibit, Ex-hibit, sponsored by the Associated Artists of American Foi-k, will open to the public Monday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. at Fairyland Park, located at the State Training School grounds on 9th East and 7thNorth in American Fork. A fee of $1.00 for all non-members non-members exhibiting will be charged. charg-ed. We cannot accept wet pictures, pic-tures, or pictures with wet frames. All exhibits must be received at the Administration building on Thursday, Sept. 1 or Friday, Sept. 2 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Absolutely Ab-solutely no paintings can be received re-ceived after that time. All paintings must be original and not before exhibited in American Am-erican Fork. Copies will not be accepted. We reserve the right to reject any paintings wo deem unworthy un-worthy of this exhibit. It is assumed as-sumed the artists will use their own good judgment in sending examples ex-amples of their best work to this exhibit. Artists may exhibit up to 4 '" paintings. Pictures 36 inches or under are preferred. However, larger ones will be welcome. Paintings must be labeled with the artist's name and address, title of painting 'and the price (or marked NFS, if it is not for sale). We will do our utmost to encourage sales, the committee said, and all sales will be between the artist and the purchaser. No work can be removed during dur-ing the period of the exhibit. The committee will exert every effort to see that paintings are handled with the best of care, but will not be responsible for paintings. Pictures must be removed from the exhibit immediately after the exhibit or no later than Tuesday, iSept. 6, from 9 a.m. until noon. Otherwise, a storage fee will be charged. The committee asks that the artist of any work in this exhibit ex-hibit agrees to all conditions as set forth in the article above. |
