Show Servicemen Home For Xmas Holidays J. R. Hone is home from Ft. Lewis, Lew-is, Washington for the Christmas holidays. He is visiting here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Hone and will leave on Jan. 3 and report at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Navy Cadet Robert Fenton is here from Pensacola, Florida and is enjoying the Yuletide with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fenton. Fen-ton. Mr. Fenton will report back to his station on Jan. 5. Pvt. Max Ferre of the Reserve Unit, now on six months active duty, stationed at Fort Ordi, Calif., is here spending the Christmas and welcoming the New Year. He is at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Ferre. Dean Powell, Sp. 3c is happy to have been able to spend the yule-tide yule-tide with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean B. Powell. Dean received his discharge at Fort Carson, Dec. 18 after 22 months of service at the same station. He will register,! the BYU for the winter quarter. Sp. 3c James Brimhall returned Wednesday morning to his duties at Ft. McPherson, Georgia, where he is stationed at Third Army Headquarters, after spending Xmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Brimhall. Sp. 3c Norman Brimhall came from Fort Leavenworth Leaven-worth Kansas and is with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon W. Brimhall. Brim-hall. He will return to his station on January 5. Duane Sykes is home after attending at-tending the six-months Reserve training program. He had basic training at Fort Ord, Calif., and then went to Fort Chaffee, Arkansas Arkan-sas where he was in a Field Artillery Ar-tillery unit and specialized in Fire Direction Control. He plans to enroll en-roll at the USAC this winter quarter quar-ter and! join the Field Artillery Unit of the Utah National Guard in Logan. |
