Show Mother, Son Escape Death In Car-Train Collision Mrs. Kenneth Harvey and son Rickey narrowly escaped death Monday when she failed to notice an oncoming train at the railroad crossing on West center street. Mrs. Harvey and son in their automobile auto-mobile were coming into Pleasant Grove from the west when a train started across the state highway. She was able to stop just as her car got to the train, and as the cars passed each one hit the front of the car, and apparently one of the cars hit with such force that it knocked it against the signal post, knocking it down and damaging the car extensively. Very fortunately Mrs. Harvey and her boy were not hurt. |
