Show Gleaners Honored Three Golden and two Silver Gleaners of the Grove ward, were honored Sunday evening at the church services in their ward and received certificates. President Arvilla Harvey of the Y W. M. I. A, was in charge. Gleaner Leader Lucile H Walker and Junior Leader Lead-er Mrs. Mai-low Brady arranged the program in which all of the five girls participated. The Gleaner Sheaf was recited by Joyce Evans; Bliss Brimley told "What It Has Meant To Become a fJolden Gleaner, Helen Wells told of the fun of working for Golden Gleaner awards. Discussion lead by Mrs. Walker, by three Silver Gleaners, "Value of Silver Gleaner Award, Janet Warnick, Lucille Mills, and Lois Bezzant; violin and vocal music was furnished by Georgia Lea Bullock and Joan Whitehead, respectively. Stake Y. W. M. I. A. President Ella Jackson presented the certificates certi-ficates and in-addition gave each girl a pattern of living. Mrs. Faye Bellisotn, stake Gleaner Glean-er Leader and Mrs. Thiel Roberts junior gleaner leader of the stake also spoke, and presented the girls for their certificates. |
