Show LOCAL NEWS ' Mrs. Elvira Olpin is visiting with het sister Mrs. Ella S. Winters. T.er He returning: home, Mrs. Olpin v. ill visit relatives in Ogden. I i Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Thorne of Lindon are vacationing with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Thorne and son and daughter Marilyn and K. of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. They plan on spending several days in the Bear Lake area and returning home this week end. ToUte Kathleen Bird, daughter of Air. and Mrs. Weldon Bird of i Lindun, welcomed home new baby sister, Deana Lee. Mother and ' baby have just come home from the Utah Valley Hospital were Deana Lee was born, July 31. Miss Myrl Keetch with Miss Norma Roberts and Miss Janet Roberts are enjoying a month's vaention including a trip to California, Cali-fornia, through Yellowstone Park, and New York, where they are ncv enjoying themselves. Other points of interest are scheduled. Mrs. Carl Wilkens and children Kay Lynn, Suzanne and Gill of Fillmore visited Tuesday with Mrs. I Florence Roberts and helped celebrate cele-brate Mrs. Roberts' birthday anniversary. anni-versary. Patricia Pack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Pack, of Lindon, returned home this week end after spending seven weeks in San Bernardino, Ber-nardino, Calif. Capt. and Mrs. A. L. Bossa, entertained her at their home. The Captain was training at Orton Air Force Base during the summer. Patricia enjoyed several sev-eral side trips during her visit. A few of the places were: Knox Berry Ber-ry Farm, El Capistrano's for dinner, din-ner, Arrowhead Lake and -swimming at the beach. Mrs. Margaret Anderson returned return-ed Sunday from a very pleasant trip to Yellowstone Park and the northwestern part of Idaho. The trip was made with her grandson, Norval Driggs and family of Salt Lake City. After visiting the park the drove through the Salmon River Riv-er area to Arco where they saw the atomic plant and at Arco visited vis-ited with Mrs. Drigg's sister. They returned home Sunday and Mrs. Anderson reports a very delightful delight-ful vacation and her first visit to Yellowstone. |
