Show Lucile P. Hillman ; Entertains The Cadmus Club Mrs. Lucille P. Hillman was hostess to members of the Cadmus Club Monday evening at her home. Special guests were Mrs. Ford M. Paulson and Mrs. Sadie Chandler. Mrs. Dorace Rogers presided at the meeting as Mrs. Winifred Adamson was out of the state visiting vis-iting her son. Mrs. Rogers announced an-nounced that Mrs. Alvira Olpin of PI. Grove had been selected as one of the six finalist in the contest being held in Utah to select sel-ect Utah's most prominent mother. moth-er. Inasmuch as the Cadmus Club had sponsored her the members were most happy and hopeful of her being chosen. Faye Belliston reported on the musical contest and said that plans were progressing and the contest would be held on April 4, I at the high school to select the I winners in vocal, instrumental and piano. Rose Hillman of Educational committee then introduced Lucille i Hillman, who gave a most interesting inter-esting and informative discussion on "Plants for the Home and Out-Doors." Out-Doors." j Carol Jaynes was then asked to give her part of the program on hobbies. Carol has the hobby of i collecting opera stories and music. She very ably gave the story of "Madam Butterfly," with recordings record-ings from the opera. The next meeting of the club will be held at the home of Mrs. Thelma Adamson on April 14th, when Dorace Rogers will give a book review. |
