Show I Fish and Game News Items Utah's second fishing opening is scheduled for 5:00 A. M. July 2. This will effect the waters of the high Uintahs primarily and includes all of the waters on the North slolpe of the Uintah Mount-tains. Mount-tains. Fisherman are warned to prepare to fish in extremely high water when they enter this area. The Upper Duchesne and Uintah j Rivers, as well as the Upper Bear River, Henry's Fork, Burnt Fork, Smith Fork, are running extremely high. It is suggested that the lowly garden Hackel or the good old angle worm be used as bait. Sportsmen, Sports-men, you are ag'ain reminded that the bag limits are 7 lbs. or 15 fish and that the daily bag limit is the j possession limit-As limit-As fishermen venture on to the streams, there is one point that must be kept in mind at all times by everyone, and that is that, in all probability, you are on private-' private-' owned land, and that you should j regard this property as you would I your own. Do not build fires in undesignated places; do not open gates and leave them open; and do not destroy fences or molest livestock. The man that owns the land would appreciate your consideration, consid-eration, and I am sure he will give you consideration if you respect his rights. The desire of the Fish and Game Department is simply that we would like all sportsmen to please be sportsmen! |
