Loader who were honored with a reception re-ception Aug. 23, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mercer Greenwood, Green-wood, parents of the bride, the former Faye Greenwood. Recent Bride Is Honored Mrs. George Barton entertained entertain-ed at a pleasant, but informal party par-ty for her daughter, Mrs. Robert Walker, nee Joyce Barton, at the First Ward recreation hall on Friday Fri-day evening. Showy summer flowers flow-ers were used in the hall where the new Mrs. Walker received good wishes and advice from a large group of friends and relatives. rela-tives. The program was conducted by Mrs. Donna O. Ash. There was a song by Lisa Murdock accompanied accompan-ied by her mother. Two dance numbers, Alice Meredith; toast to the bride was given by Mrs. Lyean Johnson; vocal number by chorus of girl friends of the bride; a violin solo by Barbara Jensen; and a hill billy number by Dorace Peay, Eleanor Sutton and Maureen Maur-een Esklund. Refreshments were served in the Relifef Society hall, and the guests spent the remaining time visiting and viewing the lovely gifts, whTch were left to help furnish the new home in Provo where the newly weds are living. |
