OCR Text	Show Dry Silage Sometimes Contains Few Vitamins Dry silage, which has been subjected sub-jected to long-continued, high heat of fermentation, has little carotene of Vitamin-A content left in it. Carotene Car-otene usually is badly needed to supplement the other rations. The farmer with several silos to fill should start several days ahead of when the kernels have finished denting to avoid ending up the silo-filling with corn that is "rattle dry" as it is blown in.
