Show MAYOR APPOINTS COMMITTEE ON - SEWER PROBLEM "The Sewer Committee" made up of progressive citizens of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove has been selected this week by Mayor Harvey E. Smith. It is the specific assignment of this committee to secure all the information inform-ation and facts concerning the proposed pro-posed sewer and then inform the citizens on the various phases of the much needed improvement. , The personnel of the committee is made up of taxpayers (representing (represent-ing every phase of community life, and each one has agreed to inform in-form himself or herself on the important im-portant details of the proposed sewer and will be in a position to give information to all those who are interested in obtaining facts and figures on a sewer. Lewis Harmer has been named chairman of the committee, with the following members: Rex Gour-ley, Gour-ley, Karl Banks, Junius West, John Duder, Lewis Olpin, James Mac-farlane, Mac-farlane, Jr., Mrs. John Green, Mrs. Ray Merrill, Mrs. LeRoy Smith, Mrs. Ora Thorne, Mrs. Fred Sum-sion Sum-sion and Mrs. Dezzie Wootton. The first meeting of the new committee will be held on Thursday Thurs-day evening, September 23, when they will meet with Engineer Al Sorensen of Caldwell, Richards, and Sorensen, and Broker Loren W. Gibbs of Salt Lake City and get a detailed report on the cost of the sewer, proposed sewer area, and such other information as will be needed to have a well informed committee. , |
